Welcome
to the Women's Guild!
Our theme, “Rooted in Service” is a statement of our past years as a Guild and of a growing Guild this year.
As a Guild of Christian women we are the root doing service through our programs the branches. “If the root is holy so are the branches.” (Romans 11:16)
Our hope is that through our avenues of outreach and fellowship we will be an organization of women promoting acts of Christian Service. Let’s go forward then with the goal of serving God, by serving others both near and far, thus growing our faith and “attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:13)
We
have five Women's Circles that meet monthly, click on each link to find

Circle
This is one of the original circles, which was formerly an evening circle.
We meet in members homes on the second Tuesday of the month at 12:00
noon and the hostess prepares dessert. We participate in all guild projects,
and we have our own circle Christmas project selecting three needy organizations
to receive a monetary contribution. Most of our members are retired
from full time jobs, and we are all “young at heart” and
enjoy each other’s friendships. We would welcome new members with
open arms and if transportation is needed, please contact Mary Lou Davis
@ 891-6229.
Capernaum
Our circle meets the second Tuesday at 7:30pm in the members’
homes. We are a group of mostly working women with a wide range of interests
and activities. We are warm, caring, sharing people with a zest for
life. We share fully in the work and activities of the church through
the Women’s Guild. Our meetings are characterized by much love
and laughter. From our origin in November 1967 to the present day, our
close-knit group has expanded and grown to a wide circle of friends.
If you would like to join Capernaum, contact Diane Forster @ 891-9293.
Emmaus
Emmaus circle meets the second Tuesday at 10am in Room 111 of Trinity.
We go out for lunch each meeting, except December and June. We will
be collecting money all year for our Christmas Project to donate to
Steve Rathman at Deer Park Pharmacy to help needy homes. We help with
church dinners, coffee hours, and are always willing to do when asked.
Our circle is filled with Christian love in both joyous occasions and
in sorrow. We are willing to prepare food for circle families in illness
or for funerals. If you need a ride to the doctor, we are willing to
take you. When our circle members are unable to attend our meetings,
the are called and told what happened at the meeting. Emmaus Circle
is a caring, friendly group of Christian ladies. If you would like to
join us, contact Helen Daniel.
Galilee
Galilee was organized in 1995. The circle meets the second Wednesday
of each month at 7:30pm at members’ homes. We are young, old,
singles, mothers and grandmothers employed and retired. Each year we
grow in numbers and outreach. We are bonded by fellowship, new friends,
and serving Trinity and the community. Food and gifts are provided to
a family at Christmas, out of town college students and those in the
military receive packages of homemade cookies. We are also proud to
support the Adopt-An-Aide program through Healing Connections. Contact
Joyce Morrell @ 791-1197 if you would like to join.
Jerusalem
Our meetings are at the church on the second Wednesday of each month
and start 1:00 pm, and include refreshments, business meeting and program.
Jerusalem Circle actively supports the Guild agenda and programs. Contact Esther Ferris for more information .
